Idiots. He is the ONLY reason they've had some success.
The guy is probably one of the best if not THE BEST coach in college ball and they think they can hire someone better.
Sorry Coots but that is NOT an attractive job for some proven coach worth a nickel.

Remember the gator AD wanted him to go in for an interview. I think the sack thought he was supposed to be just given the job back(after he left the redskins and zook I believe it was was fired)

In a kind of backwards way he could be the eternal nail in their coffin. If Spurrier can't win and gets forced out who in their right mind would go coach there.

There are a lot of coaches that would love to be head coach at an SEC school with lots of money and so-so academics. I despise Spurrier,but he is one hell of a coach, and they have recruited very well. When he leaves USC won't have any trouble getting a good coach.

I believe they'll get a good coach. But not one as good or better than Spurrier.

If they've recruited well why are they losing games to Mizzou, Kentucky and UT? Franklin proved not every coach is fine at the bottom of the SEC. Plus a few good programs might be looking for jobs this offseason as well.

even clemson post ford. countless others could be put here,too. it is very hard to replace the best coach your school has(arguably,in some instances)ever had .
