Could Gene Chizik perhaps have the last laugh?

THIS IS JUST for the sake of a good spirited conversation:

People were sure quick to give all credit to Malzhan once GC left and Auburn struggled. Gene Chizik has an National Title ring in the laat 5 years.

But that 2013 team was still Chizik's ,and Gus has certainly done less with more in the past 2 years.

At least with Chizik they had a Defense every year. There is no excuse for Gus' offense to be this bad especially with these players being his recruits.

I was thinking about this the other day. I think the infatuation with Gus will be gone if they have another year next year like this one.

We certainly passed him easily with Morris. Had we not taken our foot off the gas, we would have beaten them all 3 games of the 3 game series, and that includes the one we got hosed in at their house.

Probably not. His Mom is probably in a much nicer house, and he has a nice car, doesn't have to attend classes, etc. Is that clear enough?
