Is it just me or has Dabo seem to have lost the fire and passion he had for the football program 5 years ago. I just haven't seen the fire in him lately??

I think he’ll get the fire back real quick if it ever faded. I’ve had my criticism like any good 1.5er. And I predicted our decline early in the ‘21 season as I saw us headed in a downward trend. Especially in light of changes Dabo correctly sees as detrimental to college football.

But seeing what’s going on today. With analysts (way more than just Pathetic Paul) trying to discredit his legacy. I am on the brink of becoming a rabid Dabo Defender. Not gonna sit back and watch these fools try and diminish what he’s done here. No.

My son and I noticed it 3 years ago. Dabo checked out mentally in 2021. I don't know if it is something personal, family or just burnout, but he lost it way back then.

The problem is Dabo has hired all cool as cucumber coaches and didnt hire anyone who will ensure practices can get intense like Venables did. Iron sharpens iron is a real thing. If you dont practice with intensity or tenacity how are you going to play with it?

Dabo can still fix this but its going to require some hard decisions for him personally, which is another reason why nepotism is bad.
