Dabo Involvement in the Offense

Nov 16, 2014, 9:07 PM

Is it just me or do others of you believe as I do that Dabo has gotten more involved with the offense like he was when Napier was the OC. When Morris was first brought in, Dabo was hands off but seems to me Dabo is now more hands on with the offense. Dabo is great at hiring Coaches - hope the light bulb will go off and he'll let them run the show - real soon! Seems all season on offense we have played not to lose rather than playing to win.

Yes, I've thought that too. If that's what is happening, Dabo needs to let coach Morris do his job !

Not at all. Morris runs the offense and Venables the D

This type of thinking goes back to the whole "When things are going right it's because Dabo is out of the way. When things are wrong it's Dabo's fault". This isn't the case. The only decisions he makes on the field is when to go for it on 4th down, time out situations and possibly the personnel that are going to play. Any and all play calling is coming form Morris.
