Figured he was too old to think about getting married. I guess there is no age limit on love. Congratulations to Tim.

He also said he’s “led by the Spirit” to make changes. Not the internet, not fans.
So we gotta wait on God to tell Dabo to fire people?

Yes. That is foreign to you? I had to make a lot of hard decisions like that in my career and I was sometimes criticized for being too slow to do it - but I could always sleep at night because I felt like I had given each of them a fair chance.

I’m all about going to God in prayer and putting Him first. But I also believe that faith is trusting in Him but also doing your part too. Seems like everyone on this staff has been given plenty of time and fair chances. We shall see Saturday how Dabo and his coaches respond and do their part.

10 games? You sound like the people who criticized me for not firing people sooner. Always an easy thing to say when you are not involved. People’s livelihoods are at stake. Saturday isn’t the final answer either. There are at least 4 more games for these guys to show what they are made of.

Man, I was somewhat making a joke of the asking God about firing people. Lighten up.
And all Dabo’s people are paid very well, and their coaching and development to this point, last year and this year has been underwhelming to say the least… anyone else in any other type of job would have been feeling the heat or fired already.
If they don’t come on to their home field Saturday and make a statement, it’s a big indicator on what’s left of the season.
Keep on pumping’

Dabo is lead in life by his belief in God and if you want to look at like that, then yes. I am sure during he game Saturday and quite interspective moments Sunday brought clarity to what he needs to do.

Your thoughts on the "Grey Out" and Breese's play as it relates to what his family has been through should also go in that basket.

I think that is improper to talk about one's beliefs flippantly. The Spirit he talks about is very important to a Christian. It is what leads us. Whether you choose to believe in a higher power that is your choice. Respect his beliefs also.

He said the Clemson offense still needs A LOT of work.
I think He also made it clear that He likes Catholics far more than any of us could have ever imagined.

Made me wish our guys had marched onto that field wearing crosses and saying a heck of a lot of "Hail Mary, Full of Grace's!"

When Dabo first became head coach, he said, "God put me on this stage to win the souls of young men, but I also know if I want to remain on this stage, I have to win some ball games too."
I think he knows what he's doing, and well aware of the consequences. The real question is, how many ball games does he have to win to remain? What are Clemson's real chances and expectations in the era of NIL? Clemson is simply not going to win an arms race with entities like uga, osu, and quite a few others, regardless of the coach.
I hope Dabo is at Clemson for many more years, winning enough in both counts.
