Daughter growing up too fast...

We had a fall festival at the elementary school that my kids go to last Friday.

All of the kids K-5th grade were running around playing...

My daughter (Kindergarten) says, "OMG, there is MAX and R.J. Max is sooo dumb, like O.M.G., you wouldn't believe it. (eye roll)"... then she runs off and chases the first grade boys that she knows from her afterschool program. The entire evening she can be seen surrounded by first grade boys.

My first-grade son... hoping he turns out to be a huge beast like he currently is (90+ percentile in height and weight) and helps keep those boys in check.

Only gets tougher as she gets older. Teen years are rough. Both of my girls are beautiful and everyone always comments on their looks etc. Drives me friggin nuts!. Gonna loose it one day. I always tell the boys that they can expect me to do to them what they do to my daughters.

lock her in the house. And make sure anyone that came around knew I had guns.

Especially after reading the lunge all these years. ;)

he was very protective of the other 2, even sending me to check on one that was well into her 20s when she was at the lake with a guy later than usual.
He did tell a couple of the guys I dated, .. you show back up with broken fingers or jaw, I'll know you tried something you shouldn't have. But he met very few of the guys I dated. :)
