Day Drinkin' again --

My excuse is I am watching my paint dry. I got some paint on my yard projects today, will do touch up tomorrow.
I am the world's best builder and the world's worse painter.

October has been an incredibly-> physically and mentally -> stressful month for me. I have made muscles sore that I did not know I still had. It has greatly improved my strenght and flexibility. Right now I just feel broken, but some rest out here in my chair with cold beer will help. My jogging has suffered, but I have gotten in a few miles and beat the other geezers at the Oktoberfest.

I rented a truck and in a couple trips moved all of K's furniture -- about killed me as I am old. Her hutch is too heavy, will get that someday.
I planted grass which is looking great, and got in a load of mulch (not yet all spread as I am waiting for rain to guide me).

I started building a 12'X12' bird blind, a 12'X12' deck, and a 30' walkway. Neither is done, but I have put a huge dent in the projects. It takes one man 4x as long as to what two can do as you don't have someone to hold a 16' board while you get a nail in it. I just putter along and try to do a job Pop would be proud of.
The heavy work is done, the rest is just fun things (except for more stupid painting).

Inside my bird blind (Dude Haus) have the chair I made to fit me, and many necessities like beer fridge, computer, and a very good stereo system. My last one was 6X10, so this gives me more room for ### things.

The deck needs a lot more work and accessories to look OK, but is solid. This is for K as I don't allow her in the 'Dude Haus'.

Right there with you tugalooriver. Sitting here on the shores of Lake Hartwell sipping a cool one. Can actually see Memorial stadium from my seat.

From my seat look at Georgia as my yard is the state line. I like Georgia so beautiful.

Glad your Dude Haus will be larger this time, Tug. Us female types understand the joy it brings for you. You're working hard for it, so you should have a special pride and relaxation every time you use it. God bless and enjoy!

Lookin' AWESOME, Tug. You still got WAY more energy than me. I just got done installing Polk Audio 6.5" two way upgrade speakers in all four doors of my trash hauler 2007 GMC Canyon Crew Cab truck. I had taken off the door panels and removed the old speakers yesterday, in preparation for the arrival of the speakers via snail mail delivery from Amazon yesterday evening. Naturally, everything was juuust different enough size wise that all new holes had to be drilled. But, I at least had the (lazy?) foresight to buy adapter cables for the factory speaker plugs, so no wire cutting for me! Just plug and play!

I managed to get it all done and back together, but my back feels probably about like yours did after doing all that carpentry work! Like I said, I got WAY less energy than you do, I could never even attempt carpentry work like you just showed pictures of now.

Truck sounds pretty good for a factory underpowered head unit now. Plenty good enough for the intermittent use the truck gets. It had a buzzy cone in the passenger front door, which I could not stand, which was the impetus for all that work.

Again, congrats on getting back into the Bird Lounging Bidness!

The best buy in music are brands like Polk, Kiipsick, and Def Tech. That is because they are large companies and due to volume can make things cheaper.
I had $20K MacIntosh speakers. For this 'Dude Haus' chose Polk. In a proper system (which I have) they sound OK. To my ears they sound great. I laid them in with a lazer to get the wave perfect. I am biamping them -- @4ohms 1600 Bob Carver watts to each.

These have been serving me well as nearfields, I believe you sent me a link to them a while back.

Invisible, super punchy, spooky imaging with stage depth that extends 2 inches in front of your face and couple of feet behind the speaker.

Reached my headphone eng game, finally.

and MY CLOSED BACKS for work.

This is a guy who cares about "better audio" and endeavors to achieve that.
99% here don't care, nor should they. "better audio" is a hobby thing kinda like bowling better.

and push some air, The He-1000s are like listening to 3 headphones in different dimensions at the same time. They pair exceptionally well with the Burson, which adds an addictive sweetness to snare drums and electric guitars. Crash symbols fully resolve, I had never heard that before.
