For those of you who have December birthdays (mine is today) how do you generally feel about it? Too close to Christmas or new years? Or do you like it being part of the holiday season.

I used to like it as a kid because the timing of mine always coincided nicely with the start of Christmas break.

When I was a kid I used to hate seeing 'and happy birthday' added onto my Christmas presents.
Also I got the double bonus of having my birthday the day after my brother's. But it could be worse - my SIL's birthday is ON Christmas so she really gets the shaft.

Now that I am an adult I don't really care but as a kid it did suck to have a December birthday.

Oh, and Happy Birthday!
