Deep throw TD against FAU

I liked seeing the long ball but I thought there was a potential holding call on the OL that got missed. Did anyone else see that or did I make something out of nothing?

Yes, our guard actually grabbed the DL around the waist from behind. Very surprised we got away with that one!

but unfair to the DL that was held.

Well we could go back and count how many they missed in our favor. I am confident the Tigers had their fair share on non holding calls as we always do.

The oline has left allot to be desired with their play so far.

I also saw some deep throws from FAU where they had our defense smoked…if the passes had been on target they would have been easy touchdowns

That’s a fact. It’s like they only call egregious holding penalties.

Clemson d line is held almost every play. Elite pass rushers overcome it.

The thing is, there is holding pretty much every play. Sometimes its pretty blatant. The problem is, your asking a group of 7 middle aged men, to watch 22 top athletes at full speed and catch every rule infraction.

I saw it and remarked on it immediately, in real time. Breathed relief it wasn't called. It directly affected Cade's ability to hold it a fraction longer and get the pass off. The guy came right through the middle.
