to school sick.
Fastest spreading virus in history, we've sent home half of our pop in the past 2 days.
Kids are still coming to school sick as a dog.

I’m in agreement but let’s be real … some parents can’t afford to do that.
We need to have something in place which will allow parents the ability and flexibility to provide care for their kids whilst not losing their jobs or income. Which unfortunately a lot of parents are faced with that choice.

So these kids miss all schooling for 10 days. Little kids can't do catch up like HS kids. They need to be taught.

It’s going to run it’s course. Everyone is going to eventually get it. Fortunately most will get a weaker form of the virus.

Update, trying to get kids back in school, since we all feel fine.
So we've all been sick. I never tested positive. Oldest and middle son never tested positive. Wife and youngest son have tested positive. Wife twice now.
ANYWAY, wife got all the kids tested today. She piles them in the car and off to test. Results - Wife STILL positive after a good week and change. Youngest also positive. Other two, negative. So wife emails tests to school and asks what to do. They say two oldest can come back since negative. Mask always optional, lol. BUT, when at home, they have to quarantine away from wife and the youngest. Now keep in mind we're around each other a lot. No one has symptoms anymore. Wife and youngest were just in the car with the two who are now cleared to go back to school.
School says they're good to come back, but at home quarantine.
I'm not sure how much sense this makes, and DGAF at this point.

If winds are over 5mph and temperatures drop into the 40's, they'll cancel it anwyay because some kid doesn't have a ski jacket to wear.
My kids are just going to be dumb and there's nothing I'm willing to do about it.
