Yes, and I don’t believe there is any going back. It’s the end of Clemson in the ACC.

It looks a bit this wat, doesn't it? There are noteworthy differences that could be discussed but with the winds of change appearing to be blowing in a manner that strongly disfavors the football schools in the ACC I suppose each school is doing their best to secure their continued success as a football school.

Read the Clemson filing...quite a bit different in form and substance but essentially asking for relief...someone at CCC did their homework before jumping out to sue! We have no law school...maybe the FSWTC doesn't have one either! Our filing appears to be engineered , we have great schools of that!

Just noting about the portal is that the vast majority of portal entries do not get picked up by another school. The same could be true about conferences....FSU and Clemson might get out of the ACC, but they might not get picked up by the conferences they want to go to. Reporting is that they likely will not be accepted to either the SEC or the B1G....so what then? Big 12? That's just a pot of the same color.

Just shooting from the hip. It wouldn't surprise me if they already have a landing spot.
As I see it, Clemson has no intention of staying. It's just a matter of establishing what it is going to cost to leave.
