Are we putting too much weight on them when they get here and slowing them down? Strength and nutrition need a serious look.

They aren't slow. That's Davids stupid assessment. Our problem is our OL can't pass protect long enough to run vertical routes or for them to even get open.

No he isn't. David thought we had a great OL. You can't find a fast enough WR to run a route in less than 2 seconds which is all our OL will allow.

Dabo has the final say on every offer just like any other school. Ultimately its on him for his guys that don't pan out and he's got a lot that haven't.

dude 90% of our receivers are socon speed quality. You can't watch our games and think anything else. Like molasses in January and also lacking the ball skills of our bigger receivers from years past

we have a couple of burners at WR in this next class, but right now our fastest players are in the defensive back field. Neither Shipley nor Mafa can break off a long one, and we have no answers in the red zone. Wesco is a burner, but Terrance Moore is an absolute freak of Nature at WR, should we hold onto him, he would be the next great one at Clemson.
When our Dline was not getting held last night, they were penetrating too deep into the backfield and leaving the Duke QB gaping holes. We also do not have anyone on the strong side that can hold the edge, It only reared its head a couple of plays last night, but more powerful running teams will take notice.
We needed a couple of receivers and an SDE in the portal this year to be competitive. Based on what I saw last night, 9 games will be a miracle with what is in front of us. This offense will need a lot of confidence and start putting up some points, and they will, but against a good Offense last night we got torched on D, I mean bad. We were solid against the run for 3 quarters, but they got gassed, there just is not enough quality depth in our front 7 to grind out a win like that, even had we not dropped the ball 2x inside the 10. We will need to find a way to put up points this year.

The speed difference is obvious. I saw this last year as well. Offense is slow. Watching FSU and LSU, it was an astonishing difference. USC, Ohio State. Even DJ’s beavers. Our receivers have zero separation. DJ was good as frosh because Cornell and Amari could separate and make plays.
Our defense is fast. Couldn’t tackle.

Their 40 times were fraudulent. All the recruiting services, other college coaching staffs, as well as Clemson's were wrong about each and every player on this team. The guys we should have recruited are all playing at Duke. They have better athletes and are stocked with NFL talent. Just wait for the draft. Did you see their tiny D- Lineman slicing through our pass protection? NFL guys for sure. 
Staying the obvious here, but it's called bad coaching. It's not an elusive mystery. Switch the coaching staffs up and Clemson wins by 50.

Trainers need to make the WR do more cardio explosive HITT work outs 15-20 mins a day heck do the whole team!

It's more of a fundamentals issue. We have no elite speed guys but the receivers should still be able to get open. Someone with mediocre speed can still get open with good route running and scheme. There is enough talent and quickness there to get open with good routes. Blocking and route running are suppose to be mastered before getting a shot to catch the ball. This receiver room does not block or run routes well. That's a fundamentals / coaching issue. Players giving poor effort blocking and on routes should be benched.
