And he's definitely going to get that chance now.

I think we will see Huggins at WDE this season and a heavy dose of Wilkins at DT.

he already does more bench reps than Crawford, and is quick enough for the edge, but memories of Gurley on the toss sweep come to mind.

he is a tackle and will be from day one. he may want to be a de but that will never happen unless dabo has no one else to play de.

I nean this with all sincerity, it doesnt matter what he billed himself as...if he is needed at DT then he should be willing do play whereever is best for the team to win.

started here as a DE and was moved inside to DT mid to late spring

Will now probably get bumped back outside.
However, the returns on Yeargin have been very positive and they see him as the next Beasely type. Needs a bitore bulk over the summer (which will naturally be the case), but even without it our staff feels very confident that he can earn and excel in, a starting role.
Positive returns on Jabril Robinson as well.
Reader, Watkins, Pagano, the 5 star DT from Conn, and Robinson is very good depth.
Huggins can be an impact guy at DE. As can Register, who was moved down from LB.
Lawson.
And 2 of our incoming DEs are pretty much ready to jump into the mix.
One's big, quick and super strong but dealt with an injury last year. Top guy. Then another top ranked guy who we're hoping works his ### off in the weight room this summer so he can be ready to go as well.
We'll be fine. There's a reason Ebo only played in garbage time.

The 2 ends we feel can contribute right away are Austin Bryant and C Ferrell

And don't sleep on Huggins. This may be another one of Dabo/Venables' motivational tools used to get Huggins to work endlessly on technique, quickness, strength and speed this off season in order to prove worthy of having what it takes to become an elite DE.
Like relegating Peters to 2nd team, Hopper to not being with the team.... Jadar and Kearse being listed as co-starters.
Howard being named the starter post spring last year, etc....
I expect big things from Huggins. Early in the season. He just needs that starving mentality in order to be elite, as opposed to the belief that he's already arrived and deserving of a spot on the 2 deep regardless of his work ethic.
