In the game last year, a second time starter at QB for OSU dominated Bama after getting down early.
Gallman is as good as Elliott or at least close. Watson is far superior to Cardale Jones. Bama is fielding almost the same defense. Blake Sims was a better QB and more of a mismatch for us than Coker. Bama still has Henry. I think this game could be similar to last year. I think our D as a whole is better than OSU's but I also think Bama's D probably improved too. Sure you could say that they are still hurt from last year but that didn't help Oklahoma. Also Clemson has more reason to be upset and use that for motivation.
I think the score will actually be close to 34-27 Clemson.
This year's lead-up to the game reminds me of the Peach Bowl when we beat LSU. All the pundits argued that we wouldn't be able to move the ball against LSU's defense, especially with all their 1st round players, SEC speed, monster DL and shutdown corners.
