But as critical as I’ve been of Brownell this loss doesn’t matter a whole lot I don’t think. We just need to keep playing. My criticism is more of the last 14 years and only making the NCAAT 3 times thus far. That is bad. But last nights lost doesn’t hurt us much if I’m honest.

I think the frustration lies in losing games you “should” win. It’s the difference between good programs and ours. For every great win (at chapel Hole) we will have 3 head scratchers. And it’s like clockwork. Not even surprised or shocked anymore. And middle of the pack is all administration wants for basketball so I assume it’s all we will get. Maybe baseball will make a super again. That’s been awhile and something we expect so there’s that.

But we could lose to anyone too. As far as a tournament like the NCAAT goes, I’ll be happy we even make it but it’s hard to make a run when you can’t streak several games in a row. That being said we had been on a hot streak until last night. Brad’s coaching will either magnify this loss or make it a non-issue and move on.

I agree that it was a good loss since it has changed the narrative this morning on TNet. After a great 10 days of men’s basketball success, the fringers turned their misplaced vitriol on CDS for putting Peter on the outside.

With last nights loss, they can turn their attention back to a more appropriate target. CDS is rumored to be a big CBB supporter and friend. I’m not a black Tahoe guy, but could Brad have purposely done Dabo a solid?

Not a huge coach BB fan either but can’t blame coach on bad shooting and playing against the hottest player in the country.
