DJU and team is 25 for 25 in Red Zone this year

Amazing what some coaching can do for a fella’s confidence. I admit that I am one who said DJ was not the guy. However it’s apparent it wasn’t entirely a DJ thing.

FWIW here’s last years redzone stats and this seasons redzone stats.

2022: 29th in attempts (4.4 per game), 6th in conversion percentage (92.98%).

2023: T-4th in attempts (5.0 per game), 130th in conversion percentage (63.33%).

Hard to believe we was one of the best redzone scoring teams to one of the worse. Only Indiana, Temple, and USF have a lower percentage than us.

It's loose at best to compare that stat to another team

specifically looking at QB position.



Unless you turn the ball over too much in the red zone.
