He beats Bo Nix twice, wins the conference championship, goes to playoffs, and yet those DA voters are gonna give the Heisman to Nix. Same as Watson when he beat Lamar head to gead and won tbe conference and went on to win tbe Natty. Complete horse crap!!

Lot of the voters have no idea who Daniels is. It's Nix or Pennix. Pennix if they all waited to vote til after this game, but most didn't.

This is the most similar Heisman outcome I have seen compared to DW and Lamar Jackson.

But at least with Jackson you could say he elevated inferior talent around him and brought Louisville to new heights.
With Daniels he has tons of talent at LSU with him and only “led” them to a 9-3 year. Which was considered disappointing

If an award is a true award for which it is titled . . .winning teh Natty or head to head isn't the critical factor. There's 21 other players on the field that impact the win. This isn't bowling . . .

I really think Watson should have won it twice, and Lawrence at least once maybe twice.
Lawrence last year he absolutely was the first to start the "we want to play" campaign then the other players of note leeched on to make it look like a group of players......no it was lawrence first, beyond that he had a good year despite a crappy OL.
If they waited till after the national championship game, there is no doubt both watson and lawrence would have won it a few times each. but i am convinced they purposefully do it before the true end of the season so they can manipulate it how they want, thats why the award basically means nothing anymore.
Daniels is a perfect example, sure he had a great year but go look at brock purdy's last year stats with iowa state better than daniels, the formula is simple you must go to a school they approve of winning the heisman. i would actually be in favor of trashing the heisman award along with the ncaa. Also arent we in the everybody gets a trophy era, why not give out 20 heismans a year

Daniels has accounted for 20 more touchdowns than Purdy and less interceptions. I don’t care if Daniels wins but why make up some stat that’s not close?

I looked up Purdy Iowa state senior stats, you're right, i dont like people who do not do correct research and i didn't do it........there was a power 5 QB who had a 42 td 3 interception year but he played for a very bland team, i thought it was purdy but was wrong......i take the L on this one.

It's a regular season award and he had a better regular season. Hate on me all you want but it's true. He was the only reason Louisville was relevant for 2 years.
Bo Nix ain't winning the Heisman this year though. He's not on Lamars level.

It looked to me like the Washington OL beat Oregon, as the announcers alluded to. It simply does not matter how good or bad a QB is without blocking.
