Honestly, no. The differentiator with XT is the elite pass rush. The DL was getting blown up in the run game and it was largely the interior of the DL. XT would’ve helped with some depth but I don’t think it would move the needle for this particular game.

Since he violated team rules, it's on him. I just hope that the rules and repercussions were well enough defined that he views it as being his mistake.
