Dumb question

Okay, so I’m clearly missing something. How was Wake listed as 6-0 in ACC play entering today? They lost to North Carolina. We both have 2 ACC losses, 1 Atlantic Division loss, no?!?!

UNC technically was an OOC game.

Yep. A really dumb question. Read the notes. The UNC game was not a conference game.

When the ACC split to two divisions, UNC and Wake ended up in different divisions. They already had their alloted ACC cross conference games scheduled. However, UNC and Wake have been playing each other for years so they decided to play each other anyway as it's an important game to them. They did this in 2019 and 2021. Those two games were out of conference games. They play again next year and it will be an in conference game as it was scheduled as a cross division conference game.
