Figured he would be fine, he got CPR and presumably ROSC within a matter of minutes, and straight to a hospital where I bet they cooled him for a day just to be safe. But, CPR usually breaks a bunch of ribs and hurts like hell and will take a while to bounce back from.

In your professoinal medical opinion, is it better to do

CPR to the beat of "Stayin Alive" or "Another One Bites the Dust"?

In healthcare we all tend to have a flair for the macabre, and especially given how most codes turn out, I’m team bites the dust

She says if you are not breaking ribs and crunching stuff, you are not doing it right.

I always thought I was administering brutal punishment to my enemies with a baseball bat but in reality, it turns out that I was just giving them CPR.

So...I'm a prettydamn heroic warlord.

No doubt about that, especially given the shriveled up dusty boned old crypt keepers we’re usually doing CPR on

That's how it's taught.

You literally must compress the heart and to do that you have to violate the shield of bones, etc, which prevent compressing the heart. That's why CPR is done with still arms using the administrator's weight to compress the chest and not the arm muscles. Those muscles will exhaust too soon to preserve the life you are trying to save.
