This is ridiculous. There is no way that any of this makes sense. Fans and athletes suffer the insanity of money-grabbing suits and act like this is something we can live with.
Dissolve the conference and realign olympic sports regionally under new conferences with old names.
Separate football into upper and lower divisions, regionally-built schedules, and a built-in playoff for both divisions that keeps the max playable games within 15 (relegation would be a necessary feature)
Manage all TV contracts nationally through a commissioner and governing body. Pay the original SEC school’s a one-time winner’s fee… they drove us to this point and led the game the whole way. But the game has to end.

fed up. It was much better when you played everyone once in football and twice in hoops. No unbalanced schedule, portal, NIL junk. I watch Clemson because it is what I do but my other college sports interest / viewing is declining rapidly.
