the NCAA, and others in positions of power pertaining to the sport of college football take the fans of the sport completely for granted. They view them as sheep. There is an assumption, a don't worry mentality, that no matter how much the sport becomes all about making money for everyone involved; no matter how thoroughly professional and without any rules and oversight it becomes, as long as we keep branding it as "College Football" and presenting it as the Penn State University Nittany Lions vs the Auburn University Tigers the fans will go along with it as always and continue to show up wearing their school colors. Because they are sheep.
