So, if you want to watch Clemson FB or SEC FB or anything ESPN sports in 2025 you will need to subscribe to the ESPN streaming service when they cut the cable. They have not set the cost yet. Probably $15 a month for basic.
So, the FB conferences should have demanded a renegoiation of the ESPN contract which when signed was for cable tv broadcast. I know the contract was for media rights, but at the time everyone was doing cable. A law suit would have probably had some legs. This why ESPN can pony up 1.3 billion per year for the CFP broadcast rights. So now, not only does Clemson receive less than SEC/BIG but it's fans have to pony up more to watch Clemson play on tv.
