The genius presidents bought a 20 year GOR hook line and sinker. I fear what they might do this time with being just as desperate to get a few extra dollars. The fact that they are even considering adding teams rom the west coast that no one wants is a joke.

Wasn’t the ACC supposed to make a “quick” decision on this? I guess their definition of quick is as backwards as their understanding of a successful conference expansion.

You better hope and pray that you NEVER get Cal in your conference. Their fans are terrible beyond belief. When they came to Neyland years ago, everyone stands for a prayer. They did everything they could to disrupt it. They were 'protesting' that we were violating separation of church and state by shouting all kinds of liberal beliefs while the invocation was going on. They let us know there was no God, backward Southern Hillbillies, you're praying to a non existant entity - try voo-doo it will work just as well, they'll pull their guns out on us and they shouldn't have them, either and on and on. You'll see for yourselves if they get in with you. All this shouting while prayer was commencing.

One of the articles I read this morning suggested that ESPN was going to contribute $70 million more to the ACC to make the Stanford/Cal/SMU deal work. If so, it would seem to me that ESPN is trying to commit financial suicide.
