have to admit that it's clearly time for a change. With the collection of talent on this team, starting the season 11-1 and then finishing 11-10 including 5 losses to the leagues 6 worst teams is inexcusable. Retaining Brownell for another year or, God forbid, giving him an extension and a raise would speak volumes about the priority level the University places on mens hoops. Even the man crushing Brownell cult members can't ignore the facts. After 14 seasons of mediocrity and inconsistency, it's beyond time for a change.

All for a change, but not a parallel move that might end up worse. A new hire is going to get at least 2-3 yrs.

Why wouldn't we swing for the fences with a new hire? That was the exact problem with hiring Brownell in the first place....and I was opposed to it.
