Some of us have never been in the top 1.5% of anything. Let them have their day in the sun...

If my calculator is calibrated correctly that would be about 1.425%.
TU for today's mental exercise.

calculator?

I still get a little miffed with Clemson when I think that my freshman year, 1972, they required us to buy a slide rule, cost about $125, which was not chicken change in 1972. Then, the very next year, calculators started being allowed, and I had to spend ANOTHER ~$150 buying a basic scientific one of them!

You can buy one for about six bucks today that will do everything a $500 calculator would in 1973.

Well, it's really my phone app. In '67 I had a $2 slide rule (still have it) from hs but never used it. Learning occurred when pencil met paper. Graduated before calcs were available. The mental exercise phrase was just for effect.

Pretty much. Miserable lot they are too. They would complain if they had their cake and got to eat it too. It wouldn't have been the right amount of sweet......

I would love to know what percent of the 1.5% have ever coached, played or anything football other than watching? It's like my friend who was never in the military, never worked for the Federal Govt. tryig to tell me what the military should do and how the government should work. Even though, I am an 8 year NAVY Veteran and a 28 year federal govt. employee. You can't fix stupid and you can't fix those scary people, "Who don't know they don't know!"
