Lamar worked hard to get where he is and to improve/overcome the areas he was not so good in college (passing). I will say the same for Hurts. Lots of respect for those two.
Mayfield has always been an over confident, conceited jerk.

Clover I was going to post the opposite lol. Used to really dislike Baker immensely. All his antics in college and commercials rubbed me wrong.
However, dude has been on some crappy teams. He’s not the most mobile or talented and he’s taken a beating going all the way back to Wilkins and Boulware. Yet he still competes. He’s earned some respect from me.
Still glad Lions won. They’ve suffered enough. SF will beat them by 3 tds.

I like Lamar…was totally wrong about his NFL success. I might actually pull for Baker…but really really like Dan Campbell and would love to see Detroit in the SB. That fan base deserves it!

Lamar was always easy to root for imho. It’s not his fault he beat out DW4 for the Heisman. He had no vote.

Totally agree. I should like Baker more than Lamar since he was a walk on and was never expected to be an NFL QB and now he is finding some success but just can’t pull for Mayfield.

Generally, my feelings don't change about QBs Clemson faced. I don't like Baker or Lamar. I do like Jalen Hurts now, even though he plays for a team I have never liked. He's an exception for me.

Nope. Can’t bring myself to pull for either of them. Especially Jackson Him getting the Heisman over Deshaun was criminal. Will be pulling for Josh Allen and Purdy. Can’t believe I’m pulling for Buffalo but at this point they have more Clemson players and I’m really tired of Mahomey and Kelce.

I live in Tampa Bay and was not happy when the Bucs signed Baker Mayfield BUT I came around as he was a solid leader and QB this year.
Here is my dilemma now. Baker played this season on a $4 million free agent contract but to re-sign him as a "top 10" QB he is expected to garner $36 million offer. I say let him go for that insane amount. 13 NFL QB's make more than 36 mil. I don't think he is worth it.
BTW I'm shocked at the success of Lamar, I didn't think he had the smarts to be a star in the NFL.
