Favorite Thanksgiving Dish?

I have to be honest - Not the biggest fan of turkey - My plate usually consists of 95% sides and 5% turkey.
My favorite dish is always Sweet Potato Casserole and for Desert throw me some Pecan Pie.
What say you?

I'm with you on that old time southern dressing, and I do like cranberry sauce or cranberry salad with it. I know some don't!

Leftover turkey and Ruffles chips as one meal. Then take the turkey drippings and cook with macaroni for another meal.

I’m also not a big fan of turkey but put some stuffing next to it and smother it all with gravy and I’m all in.

Grandma's cornbread dressing with extra gravy and C's sweet potato casserole. Those 2 are good enough for me.

I rarely eat any turkey on Thanksgiving (even though I have a 22 pounder currently thawing in the fridge) But I love a leftover sliced turkey sandwich the next day with some of my homemade chow chow on it!

Chow chow is a type of relish that I make and can each summer. People include different ingredients but usually has grated cabbage, onions, peppers in a vinegar/sugar brine. It's a common southern condiment eaten with cornbread and beans/greens.

Stuffing (aka dressing but cooked in the bird cavity), the tender and moist turkey that I brine overnight and roast to perfection each and every year, and the amazing gravy I whip up from the pan drippings. That's the dish. Everything else is merely complementary from there.
