for Brownell if his job depending on making the tourney (because we clearly got snubbed) but feel really bad for the kids who get up everyday, put in so much time/effort and beat 4 out of 5 the acc teams in the tourney only to get snubbed. Obviously the selection process for the tourney is flawed and needs to be re-evaluated.

You are just happy we lost cause you hate Brownell.All teams lose games they should not lose. If they had only taken 3 ACC teams then I have no gripes. NCSU however had the same overall record but a worse conference record and we beat them 3 times in blowouts. Pitt had a worse record than us and we BEAT them ON THEIR HOME COURT !! There is NO JUSTIFICATION for this !!

I think the general criteria was Q1/Q2 wins vs Q3/Q4 losses. Basically, they are saying that our 7 Q1/Q2 wins weren't enough to offset the 4 really bad Q3/Q4 losses. I agree that we should have gotten in over Pitt.

I think the committee took the easy way out and let the computer decide for them. Of course I think that was pretty much stated going into the season, that your Net ranking and Q3/Q4 losses would be the determining factors.

Football cannot lose in November. Basketball cannot lose to a team like Louisville late in the season. Clemson was not robbed. The team just lost the wrong game at the wrong time. I feel bad for the players but, time to move on and prepare for the NIT. The Tigers need to make it to the final four of the tournament to shut the naysayers down.

NET rankings are a metric for tournament selection. When you have the losses like we did, you have to know they are going to hurt your NET ranking. Especially Louisville.

I'm not defending the current selection system, but you know what it is before the season starts.
