How much did not having a healthy Hemmengway affect the team this year. He was among our very best three point shooters but never really played a healthy game all year. One win? Two wins? Zero?

As much as I love Alex. We are a better team without him. Alex is a great 3pt shooter but his defense is a liability. Jmho.

Completely disagree. When he is out there it stretches out defenses. He is also an underrated defender. He's not a world beater, but would have been a great 6th man.

Totally agree. We have been a better team without him. I really like him but I think he was a better fit the last 2 years. Tyson and Galloway are very good 3 point shooters and also can contribute offensively in other ways. Alex is one dimensional. If he can turn off the screen and catch and shot he is fine. But that is his only move. If we have all 3 of them on the floor together we have too many guys standing around the arc waiting to shoot the 3. The addition of Galloway really hurt Hemenway’s value to the team this year.

How many 4-5 point losses did we have from mid-December on. I think he might have made a difference in those, but not any of the other losses. Without looking it up the only one I can think of was Miami.

but he was never a factor in consistent scoring. The other side of this is when he was out Schief developed and our results were better. I'd like him back for depth but he isn't going to a Galloway David Collins type of guard. It just isnt in him

It seemed the team played its best without him, but that also seems unfair. I think with him on the floor, it changed the dynamic of the team and made us more perimeter oriented, and we were best when we played either inside out or allowed Hall to create on the blocks. I know I will miss Alex's contributions and his commitment. Great team player.
