Football has a way of bringing us all together.

Football is a wonderful sport that brings a lot of us together. The start of Football season each year means family gatherings are coming up. It means memories are about to be made for another year. Tailgating with family and friends, smiling and enjoying the company of 80,000 like minded Tiger friends. Spending Thanksgiving with family and friends which is just around the corner from the Start of the football season. Christmas with family and friends and enjoying our love for one another during a crisp Christmas morning while we wait to see what new Tiger gear our loved one bought for us. The start of a New Year with family and friends enjoying one of the greatest past times in America, New Years Day College Bowl Games. However, all of this takes a back seat to the moments one can spend with their family during a time of crisis. We all go through things. Some of us handle these things differently. Some of us show great emotions, some of us show no emotion, some of us breakdown and some of us encourage others. Some of us pray and some of us weep. It is important that we understand that it is okay to show emotions in your own way. It is also okay to grieve for others even if you don't know the affected family directly. Football seems to bring us all together and make us one big family. We may not know the Bresee's directly but the Bresee family is our family. The love of football brought us together, but our love for the family will keep us together as an extended part of the Bresee family long after Bryan leaves Clemson.

Ella Bresee will be missed by people all over this Nation. Some who knew her directly and a lot who did not know her directly but loved her story of strength and courage. However, we all suffer for the Bresee family at the loss of their beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter and friend. We know her story even if we never met her and we pray for the family. Ella was brave and strong and she fought a good fight. She was strong when many did not understand her full story. She was brave and admired by many. She was an inspiration to all of us. Whether you're a Tiger from Clemson, a Seminole from Tallahassee or a Gamecock from Columbia, we all shared common ground admiring Ella's courage and strength.

Bryan and family, be comforted knowing that your baby sister, daughter and family member is walking the streets of gold and smiling down upon us all. For we live to one day enjoy the beauty she is seeing today. For we live to one day walk those same streets of gold. For we live for that day when there is no more sorrow and no more sadness. We love Ella and Bryan and the rest of the Bresee family even though many of us never met them.
