Forneli on CBS says he believes

Georgia offensive line is one of the few in the country that can deal with Clemson's defensive line. They won't pancake Clemson all night long, but they can deal with them enough to run their offense. He said he can't say the same for Clemson's offensive line handling Georgia's defensive line. THat he says is the difference in what has him leaning to Georgia and that was before Tyler Davis issue. He picks Georgia 27-24. His reasoning here has been a concern for me all along.

Secondary doesn't matter much if you get good pressure

Our OL has to at least hold up in pass protection, if nothing else. I'm expecting us to not be able to run well because that's almost always the case when we play teams with great defenses (even when we've had better OLs), but we have to get better pass pro than we've seen recently.

Did you not watch the last couple of losses? Pass protection was awful.

No they can’t. They’re big but nobody is dealing with BB MM XT TD for 4 quarters. First quarter it’ll be a battle but I think the DL starts taking over even if TD isn’t playing.

History should speak for itself, Kirby always chokes...
We’ve been consistent, last time we lost to a not top 4 team in was 2017....
Won bunch more games & lost 10 less in 6 years, Tigers rock on a whole ‘nother level!

Impressive resume' indeed.
This year kind of reminds me of 1991:
"Coming off four consecutive 10-2 seasons, Clemson seemed even better than before in 1991. The Tigers were undefeated at 3-0, including an exciting 9-7 win over Georgia Tech the week prior, ranked 6th in the country, and had the best defense in the nation, allowing less than 157 yards per game. By the end of the year, Clemson's loss to Georgia marked the third time since 1978 that the only defeat suffered by the Tigers during the regular season came to the Bulldogs."
Freshman Eric Zeier quarterbacked the win.

This year reminds you of 1991? You have to go back 30 years?? I guess that's better than having to go all the way back to 1980 though.

I bet the word Tua breaks your little heart. I will take those 5 losses any year if we follow it up with a couple more national title seasons.

I’m sure it stings just a bit more that your crappy team took an L in the Mustdump era.

Yeah, it hurts so much since all we've done since the end of that streak is make the CFP 6 times, play in 4 NC games, and win 2 national titles.

That is exactly why I think and have said Dawgs win 31 - 21. UGA will be able to run...enough.

UGa will not see a team with the total team speed Clemson has until and if they meet Alabama. This is something the analyst do not realize nor do many of the fans.

You really believe analysts aren't aware of Clemson's speed or talent?

I heard a guy yesterday say he thought Uga would win the game but that Clemson would win the national championship. He thought our Oline would bite us Saturday but down the road they would improve enough to win the title.

I could see that but unfortunately a loss tomorrow puts Clemson in a situation where they may not control their own destiny to the final CFP rankings. Hopefully OhioSt stumbles and the PAC12 remains a non factor.

Yes, it's pretty obvious, there is NO WAY the Clempsun O-line will be able to consistently block Georgia.
Couple that with their inability to get the run game going.
They will need to utilize misdirection plays and their screen game. Which will be much more difficult without Etienne.
The Ukulele will have his work cut out for him!

Hey don't come on our board and misspell CLEMSON rookie.
Now seeing that you are a Jawja fan I'm just going assume a lack of education or your 2 digit IQ lead to this senseless faux pas.
Please accept my apology if you're under the age of 8 or have previously suffered a major brain trauma.

So many bad takes in this thread. Clempson fans cannot view their team realistically. Their Oline was a problem last year and it was obviously an area of concern coming into this season.

Quick question for you and wardog? Does Osu and Uga have message boards because I see your fans here all the time. I could give a rat's a** about either of your teams to get on your message board and take part in the conversations. The only good news I can take from last night is our D and Uga D is #### good, are either good enough to stop Bama who knows because it is a long season and a lot can happen. I do think with our D we can work on our O and have a chance and right now other than the interception last night Uga is in the same boat.
