Frank vs Dabo

Saw a post as to that and lost it.

Clemson has always been a football school since Heisman became coach, but not always on the blue blood level due to $$. Our history is one to be proud of, not just recently but for a hundred years.

Football in the day was not like now. Frank Howard got the job mostly because he was here at the time when the other coach bailed.
It was a tiny school back in the woods.

Howard was a perfect fit. With wit and ??, he made us relevant. Maybe we did not win as much as much as fans today would demand, but we had a fun team that could win games. I was there, going to a pep rally and hearing him speak was electric. He was a rare personality.
Make no mistake, Frank Howard became the most powerful man at Clemson and did a great job given the times and resources. It is fair to judge him vs others, but only if you have the intelligence to understand then and now. He was the right man for the job, and history proves that.

Dabo also kinda got the job because no one else was there.
I am not ashamed to say at the time I was one posting to "bring back "Ford". I don't know how that would have worked out, but am now positive Dabo was the right man for the job (as was Frank in his day).

Dabo has taken us to places we dared not dream as to (like beating ND yesterday). As a long time fan, believe this is 100% all on him. He has proven himself to be on a level beyond most any other.
Idiots will always claim to know more, and call him out. As all know, he wears his heart on his sleeve for all to see and will respond. Coots twist that but Tiger Fans know.

Some Clemson fans who maybe spent 4 years at Clemson pail as to being a "real Tiger" as Dabo has been "all in for 20 years. Yall are idiots.
His day aint over by a long way.

I think Clemson people just want the offense not to stink. We have a great contrast between offense and defense both in results and how the guys doing the Coaching came to Clemson. Or returned as the case may be. Questioning the methods used to get us where we are on offense is natural. Something is wrong. Been wrong for three seasons. The rest of the World sees it and reports on it. It isn't a secret. Name calling won't fix it. Tyler isn't the problem. He doesn't block, tackle, run a route or recruit. Fans make no decisions that affect the program beyond giving money and showing up. If you acknowledge there is a problem at all then Coach is called upon to make changes and that will require a big reversal of course he may be unwilling to make. We will know before kickoff 2024.
