Some may have heard of this story. I had forgotten about it until a friend (and good Clemson man) at work reminded me about it the other day. James "J" Hines of Allendale, SC was a funk guitarist back in the day and had some moderate hits under J Hines and the Boys and/or J Hines and the Fellows. His wife worked at SRS after his death when I started out there. He passed away from skin cancer and the family ordered a standard casket for a 6'7" man.
