From your perspective what did you see from watching game

last night about Tiger Team and Coot Team.

Me first:

* amazed Tigers O couldn’t score a single TD.
* amazed Coots scored only TD but used trick play.
* glad our D shut down Rattler.
* neither team worth a hoot compared to Top 10.
* Cade has a lot of growth to go.
* miss talented DW4 & TL16 Teams!
* BUT saw & enjoyed another win over Coots.

You turn Tiger~

I enjoyed TJ Parker going out of his way to firmly introduce himself to Rattler on several occasions. A friendly young man

1. Receivers continue their inability to get separation from defenders or provide a downfield threat.
2. Receivers continue NOT catching a ball that hits them in their hands.
3. Offensive Line still underperforming at end of season.
4. Very refreshing to avoid game killing turnovers.
5. Defense obviously won the game.
6. Hats off to kicking game!
7. Congratulations to entire team for finishing season with wins.

A courageous win after many players and coaches spent the week throwing up instead of practicing and preparing.

Amazed at what a great job Wes Goodwin has done with our defense.
Amazed at why South Carolina has no running backs.
Amazed that we made all 3 field field and that won the game.
Amazed that Coach Austin's O line blocked well enough for us to get over 200 yards rushing.

A fairly solid defense and an overpaid offensive coordinator that could not score 1 touchdown against an average team at best.

I was pre-occupied with another game.

Had FSU on TV and Clemson on my computer.

What I was struck with was an awesome defensive performance. SC looked totally and completely inept after the first quarter. (Very similar to UF offense after first quarter of FAU game, but I digress.)

My second impression is that Clemson needs more athletes at WR.

More of the same! WRs suck and drop passes especially during critical 1st down conversion plays. The OL is still broken and plays like junk if anyone blitzes 4 or more.

Besides the obvious, our young TE's definitely need some tuning. Otherwise our team played pretty good.

Any team between the years of 2015-2020 would have demolished that team last night. BUT, we made huge steps in the right direction this season. Hoping we can reassert ourselves into the CFB elites next season.

LL, I usually look forward to reading your posts but cannot agree with the assertion that Cade was a problem last night.

Most of the problems I saw were WRs and Oline not doing their job.

I realized that Shipley has very good vision (perhaps that’s why is eyes are often exaggeratedly wide open). He saw and read the gaps 5 yards out and adjusted his run burst accordingly, maximizing his carry production.

1) We have no offensive plan for continuity and sustained success. It's like the play calling is "Well.....we have tried this, let's do this."..........or "Shoot, just run it up the middle again. we'll try to gain some yards next series."

2) The middle of the field remains unchallenged. Watch Oregon. Watch Washington,. Watch Bama. Watch any team with an explosive offense. They destroy teams in the middle and deep.

3) I saw a DC who continues to grow into his job and get better at it by using pressure and getting away from these soft defensive schemes of a year ago.

4) I saw a top rated kicker, who not only quit making field goals upon arrival at Clemson, but now is having trouble hitting the football field with his kickoffs.

5) I saw enthusiasm in the faces of Clemson players. There was none of that before Tyler. They were like employees punching a time clock the first 8 games. Hopefully, this carries over and Dabo gets out of his funk and becomes enthusiastic again because the team follows his lead.

Dont disagree much. But were a much better football team than the coots.

Our offense is 3 years accumulation of stale. I don’t think we have a single offensive position group - staff or players- that doesn’t have to improve. Dabo made a good start last year replacing Streeter with Riley and I think this year’s numbers confirm we need a heavier trim.
Defensively, we are as good as anybody else in the country. Wes has done a terrific job. But we are gonna lose a LOT of talent. You can’t have a top-level defense without pressure. We need a new set of talented big uglies every year to ensure consistent pressure. Thankfully, this year’s freshmen have played a big part.

the middle behind the LBs. We didn't get the yards but the effect on USuCk's defensive strategy provided us with yet another good run game.

You guys who think all the ball carrying Clemson has been good at this season is due to sheer talent by our RBs but Cade's ability to hit those crossing passes without breaking the receivers' stride is a great contribution to our two outstanding running backs.

Our receivers have been catching those passes in the previous three games. Before then Cade wasn't hitting them. I though he might be DJ.02 or something.
