1. To put Bama and the whole media in a crunch if they were 1 more loss away from having a very small chance of getting in the playoff.
2. If Clemson beats FSU while FSU beat Bama it would give the ACC a good shot at 2 teams in the playoff. It would be a great sell to recruits.

It doesn't matter. Noles will lose to Lewisville or Miami or Wolfpack in addition to us. No O line at either FSU or Looville. Final 4 are Clemson, USC, Bammer and the Hairless Nuts of Ohio St.
