supposed to be our savior this yr? All I heard was how great he was and how we got a steal and he'd bring offense to this team.
Has he even played 100 minutes total?

of the game at this level... at all
I also think there was some attitude issues (but that's just from me watching his body language, both on the bench and the floor).
But there's no doubt he is not ready to play at this level.

we didn't beat anybody out for him. He had a good year in hs and parade made him an all American but college coaches didn't like him for some reason.

"and Rooks" amazing that you can tell that about a guy who has been hurt this entire year.
Lets ignore the fact that he was playing really well on the Europe tour before the injury.

when he plays. Of course, the fact remains that he is not ready to contribute or he would be playing. Maybe he will become a great player, but we haven't seen anything to indicate that and Coach Brownell isn't playing him.
Maybe he will light it up next year.

when you're a freshman, unless you're exceptional at all aspects, you should be focused on one thing and thats defense. These guys are used to being the big dog shooting the ball 30 times a game in high school and probably cared less about effort defensively. So when they get to college they get discouraged easily b/c its a whole new ballgame. BB won't play you if you're a liability on defense. Thats why Roper is just now getting into the mix with consistent minutes. He's improved defensively. Rooks, Devoe, and ajukwa have to all get better on defense before they get consistent minutes.
