Poorly prepared-poorly coached(offense & defense) and NO adjustments at half. Dabo is the head guy- he better start acting like it or this year will be lost in a hurry. THIS is what happens when you run your mouth about national championships instead of winning the FIRST game! Dabo should know better than that so what we saw is very disappointing to say the least. It's a long, demanding season and a different mind-set and ATTITUDE better emerge fast! One other thing- Wes Goodwin has brought a new philosophy to our defense: It's called the " Stand, Grab and Watch 'em run by defense." Defensive football is all about aggressiveness and when you play read and react, you drain the energy from the defense- thus missed tackles and being out of position resulting in indecisiveness. I don't think Goodwin ever played any significant football so what could he possibly know about the true toughness required to play great defense? Mike Elko is showing anybody and everybody what a well coached team looks like and he's doing it with guys who were NOT 4 & 5 stars in high school. Good for him and good for Duke.
