Travelled really well for this game and is extremely rowdy. Reminds me of our travelling football crowd.

Interesting history. Went from non-profit to for-profit 20 years ago after being sold to a California company amid financial troubles.

Became the first (and I assume only) for-profit Christian college in the U.S. ASU refused to play them until 2020 due to their for-profit status.

Not sure I’ve ever heard of a for-profit instruction making the NCAA tournament. Maybe DeVry, Strayer or the University of Phoenix will be next.

Some rapid growth. I never heard of them until about 5 years ago. University of Phoenix has 76,000 but seems like they have been advertising for a long time.

Both have a ways to go to catch Southern New Hampshire University with an undergraduate enrollment of nearly 120,000.

Ya I went to gcu on campus we switched back to non profit but it is a joke among students that they went to for profit for a while! It’s a huge school though just not a big name! I loved it though and our student section sure is rowdy!!

I ve lived in Scottsdale the last 20 years. The school has really grown and doing well. Dan Majerle was the coach and really helped put their BB program on the map. Former Phoenix Suns owner Jerry Colangelo invested a lot of money and the business school is named after him.
