On Saturday, y’all are about to see absolute domination. I don’t know if it could end as dominant as the Deshaun Watson 2015 game that got Al Golden fired (Lol), but this won’t be close.
The defense is about to have its best game. I’m calling for more than 2 INTs on Van Dyke. Possibly one for a score. Peter Woods is about to have a fantastic game.
The offense will just feed off of the defense here.
After this game, people will start talking about Clemson again.
Just with the energy around the program, and Dabo’s energy towards everybody (even some of the Clemson fan base), this team is on a mission to be 100% better than everybody. You will immediately see what I mean when the game starts. The offense will be playing fast, and the defense will shut everything down.
I believe the portal should be used. But people also forget and underestimate the 5th ranked roster we have.
This team especially has national success inside of it. It showed against FSU with the evident passion our players played with. The miscues have costed us, but I think this Miami game on a big stage will ignite them enough to play their true best. Which is ACC Championship good and Playoff good.
I’d like to add that there are some “experts” that are regarding FSU as the best team in the nation now. And Clemson gave FSU the win.

I’ve been waiting since January 1st, 2021.
But to the previous reply, yes that is what I meant.
All of that I posted was meant to say that this is what we’ve been waiting for.
In all reality, it’s only been 2 and a half years since our last playoff appearance. That’s really not enough time for a clear drop out of relevance. Especially with how we’ve started to at least progress again offensively.
But this stage sets up perfectly. Especially with everybody healthy.

Well, I made a bunch of predictions within that post as well. Besides, other than Clemson in that playoff, that’s looking possible. USC has the one loss now, but it’s not a conference loss (ND). As well as Georgia and Michigan looking like surefire playoff picks.
Also, I mentioned UNC and how good they would be.
If you’re a betting person, you are constantly betting on and waiting for Clemson to start rolling.
It WILL happen at some point. Just everything is too exceptional about this football program to where they would just just forever lose.
And I think it’ll be this week.

no, it's not ALL Cade's "fault", it's a Team game. But if you want to point to one factor that separated the teams that night, Cade's inexperience would be it.
He and Shipley laid the ball on the ground inside the 10, Mafah drops a sure 7 points, then Cade throws high and wide of 5'10" Shipley for a final INT. Add on multiple drives that couldn't get finished, and it's End of story against a good team with a better Coach and better QB. End of story.

No kiss required. Dabo has made it clear that to him some things are more important than winning. The size of his paycheck notwithstanding.
If he were to cut his pay to a half or a third of what it is now, to better match his effort at winning, it would be more reasonable.
It right now, it’s kind of ridiculous.
