I like the schedule. Granted lots of unknowns. Who’s healthy. Who leaves after spring. How good will everyone else really be. Will DSP be allowed back before FB season etc? Just sitting here tonight…

The depleted defense vs Kentuck was not a pretty sight. If we can reload to be close to where we were this year I’d say 11-1 or 10-2. If the defense struggles a bunch like in the bowl game it may be 9-3.

Oops sorry. I read defense where you said offense. I think offense will be ok and vastly improving as Moore and Wesco get spun up. Defense (db) is my concern.

I can easily see us losing the first game then running the table. Of course I could also see another 9 win season. Hopefully it's the former and not the latter.

10-2 final record, make the playoffs. Honestly the schedule is very favorable this year. I don’t think Va Tech is going to be some great team but I could see us getting tripped up there. I want to go 11-1 but feel like there’s gonna be one surprise loss, probably on the road. (Blacksburg is a tough environment)
Planning on making the road trip out there this year.

Losing to VT would be just as embarrassing as NCst, Duke, and Miami were. I don’t see it happening.

FSU and PITT would be the games I would worry about. I agree with 10-2 with an "L" coming in the two games I just mentioned. We win out at home including crushing the yardbirds.

I don't think the Jawja game will matter to our playoff chances if we lose. I really don't.
The Louisville/Pitt/VT games are the ones that concern me. Feel pretty good about the rest of our schedule. For whatever reason, Pitt always gives us fits.

I bet we beat Louisville and would be more likely for Blacksburg to be our stumble game.
I hate to say this, but FSU on the road, I'm skeptical about that.
I might have to say 9-3 rather than 10-2 right now. Hope I'm wrong!

9-3 at worst I hope, but really feeling 10-2 is right there if the offense clicks better in year 2....definitely doable and winning the ACC.

We've proven we can play with anybody in the country if we win the turnover battle.
That was last year , and I think just an anomaly or outlier of how Clemson has traditionally played. We aren't a turnover machine like last years unit
We also , in most cases , have had reliable kickers unlike what we experienced last year that also contributed to an atypical team that stumbles its way through the season.
I honestly believe Cade turns the corner this year and betters himself in both securing the ball ( at one point he had committed 70% of our total turnovers )
He also won't feel the pressure of having to make a play due to a subpar performance from our wide receiver group and O line.
Incoming Talent and players being healthy at WR will make this group a strength this year. Yes , I said that.
Recall how Austin cobbled together a makeshift unit of O linemen when we faced ND ? To me , that was very telling. In meant , at least in my opinion, that the Talent is there.
Matt Luke is not beginning with an empty cupboard. Look for him to easily recognize the talents of each individual player and maximize their potential in the position group.
He will quickly form the starting unit and recognize those who provide the needed depth. He will have two very capable lineups and interchange these guys nearly without notice of drop-off in Talent.
Those are our biggest concerns for me
Georgia is a toss up and every other game is a win
