1) With these "extra" teams joining the SEC and ACC, coaches are going to have yet one more team to climb over to get to the conf championship game. So, more coaches are going to fail, and schools are going to have more money to replace them and will do so quicker.
2) CU is not goig to the Big XII. That conference will always be Texas and everybody else. The SEC will try to add CU and Miami, but it is 50-50 they'll stay put and build ACC football from within.

Coke Zero is about as hard as I go.
Two reasons the Big XII ain't happnin:
1) The CU BOT doesn't cotton to playing poker with Deloss Dodds and his supertanker full of oil money on his own turf, and,
2) Barker's Top 20 fixation actually does matter to some powerful people and that'll never happen if CU crawls in bed with those cow pie slingin types out in the Republic of Texas

slingin backfolk from way out here yonder Texas. We just dont know no better. Good grief, your logic is off base. It must kill Vanderbilt to be in the SEC, and to have Stanford associated with Washington State and Utah really brings their academic rep down. The CU BOT has been railroaded by the NC schools for decades now, what does it matter if they decide to play with Texas instead. Again, a top 20 fixation has hardly anything to do with who you compete against athletically.
