but I didn't buy the greatest album of the 80's, which is "Thriller". I don't like it any more than you do, but it must be acknowledged as #1. It set every record in existence, was number 1 for like 2 years straight.
Anything else is just a personal choice.
Thriller doesn't make my top 100 favorite 80's albums, but that doesn't matter. It dominated the decade.
