GSU gameday question - halftime ceremonies

Nov 18, 2014, 10:32 PM

Taking my dad (Vietnam vet) to game Sat, as I try to bring him to every military appreciation day game. Last yr he went on to the field for the halftime veterans recognition. It seemed that many vets brought their kids/grandkids with them. My son (9) will also be attending. Hoping he can join his grandfather on the filed this yr. Has anyone here participated in that halftime recognition and had their children/grandchildren with them? Just trying to plan ahead and make sure there are no tears if we get my son's hopes up for joining him and gets turned away before heading to the field. Thanks for any input and a special thanks to those who have served. Go Tigers!
