Cicada Brad needs to teach defense and enough offense to get Hall shots inside.
Too much talent to get spanked by VT - especially when their best player did not play the last couple of minutes of the first half and none of the second.

Agreed that hall needs to step up. Main problem is that he cant stay out of foul trouble and cant get into a rhythm.
Its also crazy that it seems that he barely touches a guy and its a foul, but when luynnn kidd pushes him over right in fromt of the ref and its no call. One of the worst no calls of the season at a clutch moment.

Not sure why our biggest guy is out on the perimeter jacking up 3’s.
We have other guys who can do that.
He needs to be a bigger presence down low.

I'd rather he get his 3' s from the paint and at the foul line. He's a 35% chucker, not 40.

He shot 39.8% last year from 3. He is 35% this year, but he just had a realy bad game from 3. I will bet you $100 he shoots better than 35%

He’s a career 34% shooter. He’s 35.2% this year. You called him a 40% shooter (he’s not) and then back that up by wanting to bet he’s over an unrelated threshold that he is currently over? Why don’t you bet that he ends up over 40% and put your money where your mouth is? Better yet, why don’t you bet that he ends the season as a career 40% shooter since that’s precisely what you tried to sneak by.

He isn’t dominant when he plays exclusively downlow. His value is he that he can stretch the D and force them to defend him outside with 3’s while also being above average inside.

Agree with the exclusive down low playing, I just think we would be better off with him down low more. I suspect his rebounding numbers would be better and some easier baskets would be available.

This 3 game stretch has been really bad. Points and rebounds. He did pretty good in our early season big games but if you look back into last year he had a couple of bad games to end the season when we needed him most. Against UVA in the ACC tourney and Morehead state in NIT. Not a good look.

For the record,I think Halls game fits the NBA better than college. If he can develop some ball skills, even better.
Tall guys shooting 3s are big in pros.
