PJ Hall attempts too many 3 point shots. He is shooting less than 30%. It also hurts our rebounding because he's so far out after shooting.

Won by ending the game on a 24-3 run. That is all that needed to be posted.

The coaching staff has done a great job of developing his talents. Apparently your knowledge of basketball is very, very limited. You are watching a future NBA guy shoot those threes’

STOP trying to find any lame excuse for firing Coach Brownell. Coach knows how to coach, you don't.

There’s a bigger picture here. Think of how teams have to defend us knowing PJ has a quick trigger and can make it. A nightmare scenario is him not making 3’s against a big who is not really stepping out on him anyways (Bacot at home) therefore not creating space for others to create. PJ opens up the floor for other players to make plays.

I just found that whole first half kind of weird. It’s like the coaches met before the game and said let’s shoot nothing but 3s on offense in the first half and see what happens.

If Girard, Hall, C. Hunter, Wiggins, and Clark have open looks from three, they all have the green light.
We will win a lot of games if those guys get good looks.

It just looked like both teams were running the same high weave with 3-4 passes and then let it fly. It was definitely entertaining because both hit a little higher percentage than normal games. It made for quick point swings too when one team missed a couple.

Clark is terrible from 3 pt land - < 30% for his career!

No way he should have a "Green Light" unless it's off an inside-out pass and he's wide, Wide, WIDE open.

Well, this explains the problem. They should not all have a green light EARLY IN THE POSSESSION. PJ Hall doesn't need to shoot a 3 with 23 seconds left on the shot clock. That's not our best option. Sure, selectively, he can shoot a couple a game in the right situations. But we should try to run our offense first before just letting these guys hoist up 3s early in the possession. Except for Girard...he can shoot when open anytime.

PJ shot 40% from three in November and December

He then went into a slump, shooting 20% in January and early February.
However, he turned a corner against UNC, going 4-10 against the Heels. He was 0-2 against Syracuse, but was 2-5 last night against Miami.
So despite the slump earlier this year, in his last 3 games he is 6-17, 35%. I'll take 35% all day from a stretch big man, especially since he has shown the ability to shoot at or above 40% over multiple games.

Yeah, I tend to agree with that. He needs to baking attempting 5-7 3 point shots a game imo.

Nc State game will be a lot of the same. We learned last year DJ Burns can NOT stick with PJ around the perimeter. On the flip side PJ can’t handle him down low but we’ve already got the game plan to handle them. Shutdown those around Burns. Let Burns do his thing and it won’t be enough with a bunch of paint points
