BLOWS MY MIND. We are paying Dabo $11.5 million to lose? This might be the first time in the history of football that a coach thinks it's a good idea to lose just to get rid of a part of their current fanbase....that wants to win.

Think about it.

I can "imagine" poor play, lack of discipline, lack of ball security and constantly losing to any team with a talent level higher that DeVry We are paying Dabo $30,000 a DAY to produce winners and he aint

I wish people would stop mentioning his salary. He has made a lot more money for Clemson than we have paid him. Saban is the only better return on investment with Kirby being a close 3rd.

However, I agree that it is a real problem to complain about the fanbase wanting to win. There are no fans that support a team in losing as much as they do in winning. Some may be more loyal than others, but I would just assume not test who those are. Much of the fanbase, and almost certainly most of the financially supportive portion of the fanbase has been around longer than Dabo. If we live long enough, then we will be around after Dabo is gone. It is just disingenuous to complain about any fans.

Maybe Dabo needs to start looking at our fans from the lens of Christianity. No believer is any better before God than any other. We all fall SO short of the Standard that the miniscule things are irrelevant. Being a fan of Clemson is similar in that it is not a competition. We are better off when the numbers are greater. Dabo needs to start inspiring loyalty, not questioning it.
