Help identifying cadet pins

Dad was a cadet at Clemson and graduated in the late 40s.
Mom gave me these pins yesterday and said they were from when he was at Clemson.
Can anyone tell me what they are?

Yes! I two circular balls stand for the rank of first lieutenant. The numeral 2 is worn on the collar identifying you were a sophomore!
