Per the article, he's just assistant: "TENNESSEE: Michael Szerszen is employed as Tennessee’s associate director of strength and conditioning. He is the highest-ranking member of the staff following former strength and conditioning director Dave Lawson’s departure in April 2016. As of Nov. 23, 2016, Lawson was due to continue being paid by the school at a rate of $200,000 per year through February 2017."
