Clemson WR Amari Rodgers (2017-2020) was a dynamic playmaker for the Tigers! The son of former Tennessee star QB Tee Martin, Rodgers had a high football IQ. ClemsonTigers.com described Rodgers as a “consummate professional, figuratively speaking, who was a key figure in Clemson’s four straight College Football Playoff berths from 2017-20.”
Rodgers had an excellent reason for choosing Clemson – even over his father’s beloved Tennessee. According to Tigernet:

- Earned starting roles at receiver and punt returner in 2018 and contributed in those roles in 2019 after a remarkable comeback from injury and then recorded a career year as a senior in 2020
- Concluded career with 181 career receptions for 2,144 yards with 15 receiving touchdowns in 1,901 snaps over 55 career games (37 starts)
- Also credited with 68 career punt returns for 529 yards (7.8 avg.) including a punt return touchdown
- Became only the fifth Clemson player since 2000 to record touchdowns by rush, reception and punt return in a career
- At a program that has routinely produced outstanding pro talent in recent years, completed his tenure ranked sixth in Clemson’s history in career receptions
- 12th in career receiving yards and
- Tied for 14th in career receiving touchdowns
- Ninth in career punt return yards.

In addition to the 15 receiving touchdowns, Rodgers also scored a rushing touchdown and a kick return touchdown – giving him 17 touchdowns. Throw in his 2019 2 point conversion and Rodgers was credited with scoring 104 Clemson points.
He put up these stats despite starting the 2019 season with a torn ACL that was still healing!
After Clemson:
The Green Bay Packers selected Rodgers with the 85th pick (third round) in the 2021 NFL Draft. Since then, he has played for Green Bay, Houston, and Indianapolis.
